The Museum of the San Fernando Valley is a fantastic place to visit in Northridge. About the Museum
The Museum of the San Fernando Valley is a leading educational and cultural institution. Founded in 2005, the museum strives to acquire, display, and preserve artifacts from all over the valley. It is housed in Rancho Cordillera del Norte in Northridge. This is an excellent place to tour with family or friends to learn the great San Fernando Valley's culture, art, and history.

In addition, there are several programs at the Museum SFV that can interest you and your loved ones, including:
Historic Walking Tours
You can enjoy historic walking tours of North Hollywood "NoHo" and Van Nuys. They offer these tours in alternating months on the fourth Sunday of every month. Plus, there are private and customized tours on other days that you can sign up for.
Public Art Initiative
The Public Art Initiative is a program that the museum started in 2012 to promote public art and teach about the history of the community. Some public art programs that may interest you include Artists Speaker Series, art workshops, murals, and community art projects.
