The Getty

The Getty Museum houses pre-20th-century European paintings, sculpture, photography, and decorative art pieces. Perhaps its most notable artwork is Vincent van Gogh's Irises, which the museum purchased in 1990 after its enormous $53.9 million sale just three years earlier. California Science Center
