Student Resources Available at CSUN
California State University at Northridge (CSUN) sits on a gorgeous 356-acre campus in the heart of Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. Helping students to realize their educational goals, the university's top priority is to promote the intellectual progress and the welfare of students. While things aren’t exactly normal this fall, CSUN is committed to making sure students have access to the key resources they need, including:
In-Person and Virtual Classes
Fall 2020 classes at CSUN will be offered primarily through virtual instruction with a limited number of face-to-face courses and labs that require in-person attendance. Check [here] to find a rundown of types of classes and see what you're signed up for so you know when/if you have to be on campus.
On Campus Sports
The athletic department at CSUN has developed a detailed 10-phase approach to the return of intercollegiate athletics on campus. The plan brought staff and student athletes back to campus in phases over the summer. Dependent on coordination with LA county health officials, the plan includes detailed protocols for medical training, travel, event management, and athlete meals.
Academic Support Services
While learning from home, students will still have access to numerous supplemental resources. The Oviatt Library, Learning Resource Center, Information Technology, and other services have been moved online to enhance learning under virtual instruction. These virtual student resources available at CSUN will help students adjust to online learning while offering all of their traditional support.
